Nice to meet you! I am Clara Cambon Thiebaud.
In November 2017 I attended a creative retreat in Marrakech with a group of formidable women. I was so inspired by their talent and their incredible stories that I asked if I could visit them in their workshops, stores, galleries... These women were coming from all over the world and I had a couple of months of vacation ahead of me, with the hope to travel to a few big cities.
Growing up, I didn't have many examples of creative women who lived from their art, or their ideas. I know some friends who had made a successful jump into a more creative career, but this still seemed elusive to me.
This idea morphed into a bigger project, as I got inspired to follow my old passion for writing and a new found love for photography: why not share what I would learn with others? And so was born The Creatress -- an important word, underused in the English language.
Today, I want to share the stories of these creative women hoping that they will inspire you as much as they have inspired me.
